Set caps on AI, workflows, logic functions and email under Settings → Billing → Limits. Credits define how much your workspace can spend in total; a limit defines how much of that a given scope can spend, and how often it resets. Viewing and changing limits requires the Workspace settings permission.

What You Can Limit

All operations caps everything the usage spends, whichever operation it came from. It is available wherever the usage can be measured in credits.

Meters and Periods

A limit counts either credits, the same unit as your balance, or operations, a raw count of messages, searches, runs or emails. Cap credits to control cost, operations to control volume. Billing period is only available when the workspace has a subscription to follow.

Plan Requirements

Without the Organization plan, those scopes cannot be selected, and a limit already stored for one shows as Deactivated and is not enforced. It applies again as soon as the workspace is on a plan that covers it, with nothing to recreate.

Create a Limit

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Limits
  2. Click New limit
  3. Under Scope, pick the usage and who it applies to
  4. Under Limit, enter the amount, choose credits or operations, and pick the period
  5. Click Save
The limit applies immediately and counts the usage already recorded in the current period.

Edit or Delete a Limit

Click a limit row to change its amount, period or scope. Delete limit sits in the danger zone of the edit page. Deleting a limit never extends your spend: your credit allowance and the other limits still apply.

When a Limit Is Reached

The work is refused rather than queued, and only in that scope. The rest of the workspace keeps running. Spending resumes on its own when the period resets. To unblock sooner, raise the limit or delete it.
A limit is checked before an operation starts and debited once it completes, so an operation already in flight can take a counter slightly past its cap. Batched work such as a campaign send can overshoot by one batch.

Monitoring

The Limits table shows what each limit has used in the current period. Overall consumption, including the breakdown by workflow and AI action, stays in Settings → Billing.
